Canon PowerShot SX230 HS

Canon manufactures another series named PowerShot SX230 HS with basic specification which is the 1/2.3-type, 12MP, backside-illuminated CMOS image sensor and a great 14x optical zoom lens that covers 35mm-equivalent focal lengths varying from a useful 28mm wide-angle to an enormous 392mm telephoto.

The camera offers maximum aperture ranges from f/3.1 to f/5.9 across the zoom range. PowerShot SX230 HS also packs a true optical image stabilization system to maintain the blur from camera shake. Although you cannot find optical or electronic viewfinder, the camera equips real-panel PureColor II G LCD display as a replacement. This 3-inch diagonal camera comes with 460,000 dot resolution.
Besides producing still images which are captured at up to 4,000 x 3,000 pixels, PowerShot SX230 HS is able to record HD movie clips at up to Full HD resolution or 1080p/1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The movie is recorded with a rate of 24 fps at the highest resolution and 30 fps at 720p or 1,280 x 720 pixels. All movies captured will be stored with H.264 compression in a .MOV container couples the stereo Linear PCM audio.
Canon designs this PowerShot camera significantly by including evaluative metering system to calculate the exposure. This evaluative metering system provides center-weighted average and spot modes.
